We Are Upstarts is a creative placement with a difference, open to those with a curious mind and something to say. It's a chance to make a name and career for yourself at We Are Social. In partnership with Creative Mentor Network, We Are Upstarts is your chance to take a seat at the table.

If you're free between 16th July and 24th August and you're able to work in London, we're offering you the chance to join the six-week We Are Upstarts placement. It might even lead to a permanent role or a mentorship with our trained mentors. You'll have a chance to work with some of the best brands in the UK with our Editorial, Design and Creative teams. This means you'll get a taste of a few pies. Previous advertising experience is not necessary and you'll be paid the London living wage.

2. Come up with a new show that works for your chosen brand

3. You have 60 seconds or less to pitch it to us in a video

Show name: Truffle on Toast

What it's about: A show that reinvents boring university meals into gourmet dishes, on a limited budget. We partner with a Michelin star chef touring the country to create the best dishes for the price of beans on toast.
